Can you believe it’s that time of year again? HALLOWEEN IS BASICALLY HERE! Are you ready to be chasing your kids around the neighborhood, asking strangers for candy (odd concept if you really think about it…). Just know that I have been there, done that with all three of my kids and, although my oldest is not the biggest fan of trick-or-treating, I have put together a list of must-have items for that cold Halloween night. You ready? Let’s get to it!
-
Crock Pot
You might have this hiding in your kitchen, but if you don’t now is the time to buy one. Did you know that you can make my Spiced Mulled “Wine” in the crockpot?
2. Compostable cups
If your house is home base for your friends, set some compostable cups right by the Spiced Mulled “Wine” (in the crockpot) for your friends to dish up their own. Your friends will thank you for the warm treat!
3. Yeti Thermos
Better yet—take a fancy thermos and fill it up with that hot drink and walk around the neighborhood, as happy as can be. Cuz you’re warm.
4. Blanket Scarf
Just like the name suggests this scarf is perfect for those really freaking cold nights (read: Halloween).
5. Gloves
These gloves will keep your fingers warm (and so will your Spiced Mulled “Wine”), while still being smart phone ready—you know you’ll want the photos!
Snag up this little Halloween survival kit–cuz it’s gonna be a cold night. And I’ll be thinking about you all as I sit on my couch, by my fireplace, with my Curried Apricot mocktail.
Cheers!

AND! When it’s all said and done, and you have those leftover pumpkins–don’t forget to try this drink!
